Question New security-screening technologies?

Hey,
I've heard that there will be some new screening technologies tested in the near future. Or mayby already in use?

Something like x-ray's for the passangers or detection of taces of explosive devieces on their clothes.

I need this information for an essay but unfortunetly I can't find any in the net.

Anyone got a link or some details? Would be perfect!
Thanks a lot!

Sorry.....that's SSI. If I told you, I'd then have to whip you with a wet noodle.

That's about as helpful as I expected from the TSA ...

sounds like you are talking about "backscatter" and "puffer". A search for those terms (along with "TSA" or something to narrow the results) should yield what you are looking for.

@muddy: thank you so much! That's exactly what I'm looking for.

If anybody has further information, I'll really appreciate it!

Look for GE SRT Kiosks. These will eventually detect explosives as well.

When you're done writing your essay, how about sending a copy to TSA so they'll get a heads-up on this new technology?
