Returned to the Watch List
I found myself returned to TSA watch list hell this weekend.
I was originally affected by the watch list back in January 2005. After submitting my information to the Traveler Identity Verification Program, I was finally able to use OLCI again in November 2005. Now I am back to square one. The WN agent I checked in with at PHX said his terminal showed me as already "cleared" despite my OLCI troubles and before he could "clear" me. The WN agent at LAS said I did not show as "cleared" on her terminal.
Has anyone experienced this or have any insight to share? I am loath to submit my information to the TIVP again and suffer another year of checkin lines, but can't think of any other options. I doubt the TSA call center will have any answers, but will try tomorrow anyway.

I'd start with my congressional and senatorial offices. And if that doesn't work, talk to the "troubleshooter" desk at your local TV station/newspaper. We're in November sweeps, and stories about folks suffering at the hands of the government are always winners.

Local media involvement, supplemented by contacting federal reps, wouldn't hurt.
Have you tried checking in for flights using variations of name and/or name order?
