Impact from TSA doing ID Checks?

I guess if they come up with the registered traveler program as a replacement for the elite lines. The days of MRs are over. I would not fly unless I desperately need to get somewhere. It could be the last straw....

I can imagine myself living the life of a regular traveler, who comes to the airport 4 hours in advance and stands in the airline check-in queue for 2 hours to check in all the bags and TSA queue for 2 hours and running to catch the flight.

It is easier to use a real ID and a fake boarding pass - which your local bouncer/TSO wouldn't know about anyhow
