I haven't extended my membership since I'm done travelling to Orlando for now. My current one expires sometime in Feb so I'll make the determination if I want to renew then -- again my company pays for it so I don't really care if I get the current or higher price -- I'll only pay if they bring it to the airports I'm travelling to on a weekly basis.

It seems like some of the fees should be waived for people who alreay have securty clearance. I cna't imagine the background check is more through than the DOD process. Of course the DO is currently running a backlog of 6 to 12 months on clearing new military contractors and they are way behind at the rechecking of peopel every 5 (top-secret) or 10 (secret) years like they are supposed to.

I want this for free. As a federal employee, I already have had my fingerprints taken, background check preformed, have to submit a financial disclosure every year, had my neighbours interviewed etc. I had to swear an oath to protect and uphold the consitution!

Same for members of the military, and members of the public who have an active security clearance. I used to have one myself, and I guarantee that the government already knows more about me (they already know when I'm traveling) than the average person.
