Security at MXP???
On August 30th my return trip to the US will take me SVO-MXP-IAD...I am wondering if anyone has had experiences flying from Milan(MXP) to the United States or more specifically MXP-IAD since the events of last week unfolded and the new travel restrictions on liquids were imposed...I am not worried about SVO-MXP, but just wondering what I can expect on the MXP-IAD leg of the journey and if we will be able to bring liquids on board in our carry-ons. Thank you for any input on this matter.

The best and appropriate forum for these Qs. is Travel Safety/Security and I'll move it there for discussion. Ocn Vw 1K, Co-Mod, TravelBuzz

To avoid nasty gate-side surprises, I'd plan on as little carry-on luggage as possible until we find out exactly what is and is not allowed for AZ's Italy-US flights.

Thanks for moving it to the correct forum...for some reason I was thinking I had posted it here in the first place...oops.
GUWonder: Thank you for the info on transiting in MXP...I've done this at ZRH and FRA, but this will my first time at MXP and since they are discontinuing the MXP-IAD route it will most likely be my last.
