Does Toothpaste Ban Extend to "Pearl Drops"?

I just e-mailed TSA asking if "Pearl Drops Tooth Polish" would be permissible. It is a liquid so, to me, it should be. Any thoughts or experiences? I used the stuff many years ago and it was fine. It comes in a small 3 oz bottle so it also packs easily.

I dont think I can handle tooth powder.

Hmm, sounds like a (allowable) non-prescription medication of less than 4 oz. to me!
