How much are new "security" procedures going to cost?

I certainly can't do it, but can anyone calculate how much these new "security" procedures are going to cost?

TSA overtime
new TSA hirings
lost time/productivity standing in line to check bags
lost time/productivity standing in security line
cost to purchase new toothpaste, deodorant, gel inserts, baby teethers, etc., etc. when luggage is lost or delayed
cost of lost luggage
loss of time/productivity and cost to visit doctor to get prescriptions for
certain items
cost of purchasing a 4 oz. bottle of Robitussin (or whatever else) vs more economical 8 oz. bottle

Exactly. The smartest thing Al-Qaeda can do is come up with some even more outlandish plots and methods, get some stupid kids to talk about them on the phone, the internet and in their secretly monitored gathering places; and then Al-Qaeda won't even have to launch a real attack to accomplish the primary goal of seeing us crippled by having us overstretch ourselves (especially economically and militarily). We'll do it to ourselves too with our knee-jerk reactions, governmental incompetence and public short-sightedness.

Agreed. I think they're the ones having fun with this.
