Eurostar
BBC is reporting that Eurostar bookings are up about 25% yesterday after the news of the airport chaos in the UK.
This brings up a couple of questions:
1) does anyone know the current security measures on Eurostar? Is it different for 1st and 2nd classes?
2) what forum is the best to post questions about Eurostar? I notice there is a cruises forum, but no trains forum. (I guess I could go to uk.transport.trains, but ...)
I'm currently in the UK, scheduled to fly back to the USA (Boston) on Virgin in Premimum Economy. One of the first things I did yesterday morning was book a Eurostar to Paris and a flight back from Paris.

1) Normal, but increased staff presence and BTP. All passengers, regardless of class of travel, go through the same security. You will go through metal detectors and have all your luggage x-rayed. Coats need to be removed but not shoes. There are no restrictions on hand luggage except as per normal guidelines.
