Seeing additional security beyond airports in light of this plot?
I watched for extra security at the Metro on the way in to work today, but not even the typical cops standing around in the station were in evidence.
At my office, though, the rent-a-cop in the lobby was visibly jumpy, and other armed rent-a-cops were making much more frequent checks of the rest of the building than usual (normally, they walk around the elevator lobbies of each floor about twice a day; so far, it's been about every 15 minutes today).
Anyone else notice local escalations in security, etc.?

I hope that this problem will go away in a few days. The threat level is at orange right now. It's going to be a real mess!!

BART reported that they're "increasing security" in light of the 'incidents' in the UK. A picture of guys with guns during a similar increase in security prior to the 2004 presidential election can be found here.
Not until the election
