Strange
I took a trip from JFK to PBI on b6
Then returned from PBI to LGA via ATL on AIRTRAN
On the way down I got SSSS screening
On the way back up I got SSSS again, and when I returned home I found a notice saying that they hand inspected my bag.
What gives, why got two SSSS when you are departing and coming back, and a hand bag check.

I found you always get a SSSS on a one way ticket on B6. That's why I quit flying them a few years ago. Clearly B6 think that their SSSS is more important than my money to them.
Not sure about AirTran, although I have flown them on one way tickets many times with no SSSS.

It's not a conspiracy. It's coincidence.

Besides, you said that it only got hand inspected one way, but you were SSSS both ways. So how are you using that as proof that Bart is wrong about SSSS and hand checked baggage inspections not being connected?
