IIRC, the CN Tower had a puffer they used to screen visitors when we were there a couple of years ago.

The CN Tower does indeed use the puffers, and I think they're the same as in Boston. When I've gone through the puffer in terminal A in Boston they specifically were telling people they must keep their shoes on while going through the puffer, which makes sense if you think about it: the concern with shoes is bombs and the point of the puffer is to detect bomb residue.

Taking shoes off for the puffer/blower is so completely ridiculous.
That one is just TOO obvious to be excusable.

My questions are:
1. When my stuff gets stolen becuase I'm being puffed, who will help me?

2. What is the false alarm rate?
