Carnival at ABE?
I'm thinking of switching upcoming flights, as many as I can, from EWR to ABE because of the carnival/gross maleficence at EWR security.
Does anybody have experience with security at ABE?

Btw, were you trying to say "malfeasance" or "malevolence"?

A good experience. Notice that the noun is singular. Usually in small airports, TSA is rather friendly. Although they may not talk to you directly, you can see they're enjoying themselves while talking to other TSA personnel (while they're still keeping vigilant).
No barking. No yelling. No condescending comments.
EWR is quite bad. DTW and LGA are pretty good.

I concur that the TSA people at ABE are fairly normal. The only thing I find odd about the airport is the bus to long term parking and the valet parking. The airport is pretty small. Are people there unusually lazy?
Anyway, the question is not whether ABE is normal, but why is Sewark legally considered part of the United States?
I have never been to a worse airport in my life, and that was before the TSA took over. I can only imagine what it must be like now.
Twice in the last couple of years, I have flown to PHL and taken the train across New Jersey rather than deal with EWR.

Security in ABE is good. Friendly and thorough.
5 minutes or less to get through, unless you're flying at same time as one of the Florida flights. Then it's more like 10-15.
Parking is a big plus. Right outside the terminal. You can even walk to the economy parking if you're so inclined (there's a shuttle too).

It's my home airport. I can routinely go from my parking spot, to checkin, to the furthest gate in under 10 min. Never had a problem with security. Most of the time my bags have made it already to baggage claim by the time I get there.
Long term park is $12 per day/$60 per week and is right in front of the terminal building.
Economy parking (has a shuttle bus) is $8 per day/$40 per week
One work of caution if you are flying CO and "connecting" in EWR. This "flight" is actually a bus that departs landside from ABE, and drops you off landside at EWR. So if you are trying to avoid the carnival at EWR avoid CO's ABE-EWR route.
