Manual beep on WTMD?

Thanks to those of you who shared these tricks for making it beeb when it possibly otherwise wouldn't. I posted once before about this experience happening to me - a screener putting her hand through with a rather large bracelet as though welcoming me. I've been watchful of that ever since, but will now watch for these other things too and make sure screeners are well away when I go through.

That was in the private screening days just after 9/11 where they gave us new quotas without SOPs to exectute them... once we got pseudo federalized we stopped using this technique.
