Intelligent discussion
Anyone reading this section must have realized that no matter what the original subject, the threads always seem to derail to one of three major subjects; SSSS, Shoes, or Pat Downs (or GradGirl's breasts 
). While I agree these subjects need to be discussed they do not need to take over every thread. Can't there be a discussion without the unintelligent bashing that goes on? Do people here actually think they are going to be taken seriously with the derogatory comments they make?

There are many discussions on these boards about things other than the grope, shoe carnival, etc. However, this is the Travel Safety/Security forum of a frequent flyer discussion board. Since the main issues that most Frequent Fliers have with Travel Safety/Security is the grope, shoe carnival, etc., this is what we will discuss here. If you want to discuss other things, may I suggest that you visit some of the other forums such as MilesBuzz???
By the way, GradGirl is not the only one with a problem with the grope. In case you have not noticed, there has been multiple postings here and in the media about the grope.

What's with the attitude Mr. Moderator? Apparently you have the ability to limit the discussion to what suits you. Trying to see some civility here but I guess you prefer to read the same posts over and over again in every thread. What is this really accomplishing?

As was stated by several earlier posters...and to which the TS/S moderators agree...the discussions in this Forum will be on Travel Safety/Security issues which interest the majority of the posters in this Forum.
If a topic has legs and proceeds in a civil manner, it will continue. If it veers off-topic or is not of general interest, it is either closed or dies a natural death.
In the case of this thread, I believe its time for closure.
Please continue to participate in the other active TS/S threads.
