Musical instruments

# Musical instruments will be handled very carefully and screeners will allow the owner to be as involved as possible in any physical screening.
# As a final resort, if the screener cannot clear an instrument through the x-ray and/or physical search, the owner may be asked to play the instrument.

Now that's something I'd like to see!

This ever been done at your checkpoints, TSA folks?

I think it's pretty funny actually. I know some avant garde musicians who play things that the average TSAer wouldn't be able to distinguish from noise, on instruments that look particularly un-instrumental. Giving the TSA a judgement call on this sounds like it could be hilarious.
