What Would Happen If....

If I wore a T Shirt at screening that read.... "I HATE TSA" or "TSA GO AWAY" or "TSA HINDER, NOT HELP"

Do you think anything would happen?

Let's ask this in Travel Safety/Security rather than MilesBuzz.

I'll move it now.

My guess is that you'd get automatic secondary screening, which is where they point a wand at all of your private parts and ask you to partially undress. If you compounded that T-shirt with an "attitude" you could get a fine of between $250 and about $1000. But they'd probably let you through after more than the normal amount of harassment.

You're assuming they wouldn't see the T-shirt as attitude by itself. If a screener's feelings are hurt that could be seeing as "disrupting the process."

I'm tempted to wear the Ben Franklin shirt, one that has his saying about trading liberty for security.

Maybe I'm an optimist, but I think they'd just scowl at you and let you through. They're busy, and though you might be perceived as rude, you wouldn't necessarily be perceived as a security risk.

You might even get a laugh out of someone with a good sense of humor!

At my airport, this would exactly be the case. It might raise some eyebrows, but we don't care what your shirt says. We've seen far worse already. Just place your items in the tray and walk through. Have a good flight!
Myself, I would chuckle.
