Should I or not?
I was thinking about writing a note saying
"TSA Screnners:
Please DO NOT steal my belongings"
Thank You"
I could leave that note in the suitcase so when the TSA screener open it. Do you think it is illegal for me to leave a note in the suitcase for TSA Screeners? Will I get a stupid fine in the mail? arrest?

On my way to the airport the other day I met a very interesting fellow whose job is to load luggage from the conveyor belts to other conveyor belts... We had plenty of time to exchange views on traveling and he confirmed some suspicion I had. Not only screeners it seems, have a peak at your luggage. there are all kinds of prying eyes down there and the stealing my not necessarily be from a screener.
Change the wording maybe and you'll be fine. Maybe you'll even find an answer once.

You realize, of course, that by telling someone not to steal you belongings you are giving them the idea to, well, steal your belongings. Here is a better card:
"This suitcase contains miniature hidden cameras. Any attempt to steal its contents will be recorded."
