carrying catheters through security

I initially put this in "Travel Buzz" but this may a more appropriate location: Because of a neurogenic bladder condition, I must travel with catheters for self-catherization should this be needed(from time to time only). I have not flown in last coule of years and wonder if thee is likely to be any problems in going through security and having several individual plastic-wrapped catheters in my carry-on luggage. I won't have any luggage to be checked--just carry-on. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

The wearing of a catherer and the possession of catherization equipment will not interfere with your successfully completing the screening process as screeners see this equipment frequently. Have a nice flight.
