it's a waste of time because greg, spiff, essxjay, and the others aren't interested in having a credible dialogue or presenting constructive criticism when they have carte blanche by the moderators on this board to use every foul name and ridiculous alliteration they can think of (just wait for the ineveitable e mail from richard if you even make the mistake of responding in kind, tho)...

but understand it's not just the TSA they don't like-it's civil authority of any kind that dares tread on their interpretation of their constitutional liberties...

so go with the flow, don't take what they say personally, understand that they have no interest in civil or intellectual dialogue when they can fall back on name calling, and get a good laugh from their posts...

and once in a blue moon, you may find a nugget of information that is useful or illuminating -there are a few things i am doing on checkpoint differently because i understand some of the concern here, that's within my purvue to affect...but for the most part, many of the FFs here that post don't want to take the harder road of affecting real change thru proper channels when it's easier to moan, groan, and name call...

Safety is appreciated. I'm usually appreciative when flying around Europe as I actually feel safe. TSA's safety is a joke. Your agency has done nothing more in the name of air safety than what was done prior to Sept. 11th with the exception of spending more than $4 billion dollars and upsetting the elite/big spending customer of every airline in the USA and quite a few outside of the USA.
To defend a stupid policy by saying it's the rule don't like it don't fly it just as standoffish as you say some of us are. If you present credible reasons that can't be countered like not screening ALL cargo or like NOT locking your checked luggage, or the fact that ground crew has unscreened/unlimited access to passenger planes then expect to lose your arguments. Save it for Granny, please. And don't wrap it in the red/white/blue....

Complain through the proper channels? Get put on a list? Not thanks. I prefer the old fashioned way of letting you the employee know so you may pass it up the chain. If you do something that crosses a line then that is another story and we'll take em as they come.
TSA is a joke. To defend the few policies that are discussed here only show the ignorance of TSA as a whole agency. Bottom up, top down looks the same to me.

Thanks for some sensible dialog and support jrjcd... I realize that these few people are all over these boards posting derogatory remarks due to their lack of respect of authority...
