BenA, WillCAD thanks so much. I will be implementing your advice. I guess http://forums.redflagdeals.com/where...-packs-191240/ I will ask my florist and the local Footlocker for desiccant. I thrown away all I had I am afraid :/ and this package doesn't have any. No personal data, it's new (OK, refurbished).
Filling out empty spots won't be hard, I have quite a few items of very small clothing as xmas gifts for very small persons
(that I adore most and I will take a transatlantic trip to see).
As for straps, I was thinking of a luggage cart but I will see what can be done

The toughest part will be ripping tape off a gorilla. 
WillCAD provided positively brilliant suggestions, IMO. ^
All that is necessary now is to put the whole thing in a "Balikbayan box"; those things are so ubiquitous at airports thieves would probably give that a pass.
