Where can eligible travelers use MPC?

CBP uses the Mobile Passport Control (MPC) application to streamline the processing of eligible travelers entering the United States. From a process perspective, photos of an MPC receipt work as well with the MPC receipt scanners used by CBP as the receipt shown in the MPC app itself. For those who lock up most features of their phone and want to try to limit access to the device's functionality even as an MPC user, this can be very useful. Also, for people with more recent versions of the app that include in-app purchase features under the "plus" aspect of the apps, you could have one person pay for the app, use it for the "plus" features but share its results via messaging the screenshot of the MPC receipt to the person(s) who don't pay for the "plus" features while having the new app or who don't even have the MPC app.

And yes, I've used MPC with screenshot-captured photos of the MPC app receipts, some of which weren't even generated on the phone presented to CBP for MPC purpose.

Keep in mind there could be back-end process changes which could also render the app useless at some point.

As far as OS changes forcing an app to become obsolete, that could be anywhere from a few years to many years - one might hope other solutions are in play at that point.

Opened today and had upgrade on screen. Since I was on plane with no wifi, unable to upgrade. Instead took my picture and entered passport data manually.

Looking to pay for the service and see the have a line for company code, Anyone know if this is discounted program?

Came into IAD recently. On plane they announced Mobile Passport was no longer available in DC. I didn't see the kiosks when I came through immigration (GE) either.

The app allows passports from many parts of the world.
Has anyone successfully used this app with USA immigration, that is not a USA or Canada passport holder ?

Smooth sailing again at MIA. This is actually one thing this airport does right. There was a dedicated line with just a group of 5 people ahead of me.

They don’t bother scanning the receipt on the app, just scanned the passports and you’re on your way.

It (like APC) is gone at IAD.

MWAA has indicated to CBP that it wants MPC back at IAD, but it’s also acknowledged that it’s not going to be back at IAD unless CBP wants it back at IAD.

IAD has been a disaster the last three times I passed through. I think I waited an hour each time. That doesn't happen anywhere except my own country...

Did you attempt to generate a MPC receipt using a non-US/non-Canadian passport?

Even as the MPC app’s country of citizenship list option (viewable when following the process to manually load passengers into the app) includes a long list of countries, when it comes to actually using MPC at US ports of entry to get admitted into the US, the CBP allows only US and Canadian citizens to use MPC.

What about a couple where one is a US/Canadian and the other is not?

Came in 2 saturdays ago to the RCCL Terminal A. (Miami) No need for app or paperwork. Picked up luggage and walked up to a camera and that was it. Took 2 minutes from luggage pickup.

CBP is transitioning to a simplified primary inspection.

Is MPC working at SAN?

Does anyone have experience of recently using MPC at San Diego? I was told a few months ago that it was no longer available.

Since CBP don;t seem to be collecting declarations anymore at SAN I'm not sure what value MPC would add, if it's not needed.
