Fire safe in luggage?
Hi all,
I'm in the process of moving from WAS to CHI, and among other things I have a very small fire safe that I'm taking with me. I'm guessing it's best to put it in my carryon so that if it looks weird on the X-ray it's easy to open for them. Anyone with any experience traveling with one of these know the quickest way to get through security with it?

If it's going in your carry on, take it out of the bag and put it in a bin by itself, opened if possible (assuming it's empty of course). This way if they do require to give it a second look, they won't have to go through the rest of your stuff.
