Pehaps a little off topic, but...
I saw a TSA "Exposives Detection K-9" vehicle this week. It was made to resemble a police cruiser with the exception that there are no lights on top. If this was only for the transportation of dogs and/or trainers why would it need to replicate a squad car??? I'm afraid the scope creep of these creeps continues. Regardless of what pilot program is advertised to ease our concerns, big brother is not backing off. It is getting worse. +1 on "if 12yo-, why not 12yo+, right out of the gate?". What does age have to do with it? Shoe size, type, material, construction, etc... that makes sense. Age? Still trying to figure that one out. |

I'm not aware of the stats, yet I'm hearing that there's no TSA K9, some K9 from other divisions of the DHS, and the rest is local/county/state that took the DHS funds to create/augment their K9. I'd be very interested to know if the vehicle was really a TSA K9, had peel-off stickers, or was another DHS/LEO agency.
