What I don't understand is why I am consistently selected for the NoS. There were 10 other people in line with me today. None of them were selected for the NoS; they all got to proceed through the WTMD. And it is ALWAYS like that here. I'm not worried about being retaliated against as a result of my opt out decision, I'm concerned about why I am always asked to make the decision in the first place.

In 2011, I have been selected for the NoS for 75% of my flights out of CMH. That is hardly "random and unpredictable." I have written emails and letters multiple times to everyone I can imagine, and it is useless. I feel totally helpless and unfairly targeted.
you know, lots of other girls feel the same way. I thought I was the only one being singled out at airports. It's sick, I think the male tso's like to pick "pretty" girls so that they can either see them naked in the scanner or score some girl on girl touching. Sick. Maybe we should all look as frumpy and ugly as possible? Maybe try changing your appearance by switching hairstyles, wearing glasses, or or clothing styles? Sorry that you keep getting chosen, you're not alone!!!

I apologize (two mod dings in one day for me, yikes). My flight was delayed over 2 hours and I was a little incensed yesterday.

1) I have been selected at CMH 3 out of the 4 times I have been there in 2011
2) My FT handle leaves little guessing as to my identity
3) I post frequently about experiences at CMH
4) I have never been selected at BOS (yet)

Does anyone know if a list like that exists? Is there a clue or signal I should be watching for between the TDC and the (always male) screener who gives me the dreaded, "Are you wearing a belt? Do you have anything in your pockets?" line?

I am just trying to figure out why I am so frequently picked at CMH, and ONLY at CMH. I suppose it is possible that the screeners there are just "exceptional", but really, it is getting old. I get a free grope almost every month!
Gotta be honest, 75% is pretty low. But the selection could be the girl thing. Doubt they have a list.

However, as a male I am now 11-for-11 at the IAH Terminal C checkpoint, despite always using the belt aimed at the WTMD, and it ain't because the ladies want to check me out; probably not the guys either. Not as popular at MSY, only 10-for-12 there - although one of the opt-out gropers at MSY did greet me like an old friend last week. I probably wasn't as cheerful.

That's odd that you, as a guy, have been picked 11/11 at IAH. I've been through IAH terminal C and when I was there, I saw females of all ages being picked for the scanner and one teenaged boy who wore baggy clothing. They were also giving pat-downs to several old ladies after going they went through the scanner. I think eturowski is picked a lot because she is a young female who is pretty.

Maybe you (bordeauxboy) have been somehow tagged as a favorite by one of the tso's at IAH? Creepy!!! 10/12 at MSY is still pretty high too. Maybe you should try to alter your look, perhaps you could try a new haircut and hair color along with a different clothing style?

So, maybe stop cutting my hair short and dressing for business. In early March at MSY, I was 'randomly' selected while three guys that looked fresh from a Taliban conferenece waltzed right through the WTMD - I know, there I go profiling again .

I have gotten the impression that by selecting me, TSOs are trying to even up their quotas.

This is an example as to why TSA needs to be under review from some authority answerable to the public. Even people who constantly get audited, get to challenge yet another audit. And if a traveler is getting gropped randomly each time she travels, there needs to be a record of it some place so she can file a sexual harassment complaint.
