While diversity is a good thing, there will always be a group works against the common good.

Last week I was flying home with a peer in the company, not someone I particularly like, but we're above civil and get our respective jobs done.

He was behind me when I opted out and bellowed at me "Just go through the dang thing already! It's not like it'll kill you!"

And when I say 'it wasn't his business' he reply was "The government wouldn't do something if it hurt you."

I was at a lost for polite words to say to him. Later at the gate, I made sure we weren't seated near each other.

So I suppose there's some sample of the population that would defy Darwin, Aristotle, and any other regard. I just hope it's really small. (This guy has kids-more than one.)

How about:

"Thank you, doctor, I'll be sure to take your expert diagnosis under advisement."

Please have a mop handy to wipe up the dripping sarcasm. ;)

More proof that TSA considers all Americans to be terrorists, especially those that complain about their procedures or demand accountability. The old saying is "We don't negotiate with terrorists".

Notice the similarity.

Has he ever heard of Agent Orange or The Tuskegee Syphilis experiment? If not perhaps he needs to do some research.

This is the same tactic they have used on Members of Congress who have spoken out against the TSA. They run down to the Hill, conduct a re-education training session
Maybe Ho Chi Minh is his favorite thinker. Re-education camps for US collaborators were popular after he took over.

Perhaps we should change the name of Washington DC to Pistole City.

And a bunch of other examples. I'm not a conspiracy theorist but I don't blindly trust any one organization.

From previous conversations on other topics, I get the feeling that this particular individual is a lost cause to educate. He's set in his ways once he's decided a way.

I keep it to myself, but I am glad he has no authority over me, however I do feel for his family and for what could be like.

"Operation Plumbbob?"

TSA may not negotiate on security, but they sure do compromise their ethics at the security check points.

Your stuff isn't secure, you don't feel secure, not a terrorist ever found, what's to negotiate?

Procedures. Was standing at the checkpoint in Tulsa getting patted down and saw another passenger going through my stuff. Said something to the TSO about it and he ignored me. So I yelled at the passenger to get out of my belongings. That motivated other TSOs to do something about it.

Maybe the passenger wanted to experience what is like being a TSO.

You should have said "That person just put a plastic bag of white powder into my stuff."

Drug violations appear to be the only thing the TSA is interested in these days. It's painfully obvious that actual "security" isn't on their to-do list.

You wouldn't be believed, because only TSOs do that.

The ONLY item keeping DL's in many States being RealID compliant is:
the inclusion of an RFID in them!
RFID's are easily defeated by wrapping the card in aluminium foil.
