BTW, 97% might just be a bit low.
if you think this forum is somewhat biased or skewed, perhaps a visit to tsa's own website to read the blog could clarify matters somewhat...

The comment sections of most online articles about TSA are usually mostly negative, too. Perhaps soothing music and sexier outfits would somehow improve the public perception of TSA check point experience. Its worth a shot, nothing else has worked so far.

Because 3% of the posts are from TSA lackeys.

Because they've earned it?@:-)

And because some people are just generous by nature, or don't want to seem confrontational.

I wonder what the "proper percentage" is supposed to be.

There's nothing stopping you from starting a few well-reasoned pro-TSA threads. I look forward to reading them, and I honestly would like to be convinced by them.

Well... other than the sheer lack of anything resembling "original mission goals met" by the TSA, anyway.

Well, I can say I'm very impressed with how the TSA has unified a
divergent cross section of the American public. I see very few
organizations these days who can claim that. Still, it has nothing
to do with the stated mission of said organization.

Because 97% of the threads in the last 100 days have been started by people who have flown through U.S. airports?

The reason people are "anti-TSA" is likely due to being "pro-liberty". It seems many people here regard the constitution with reverence, shocking and feel that the fourth amendment applies to them. Most FFers can see through the security theatre and are keenly aware of it's lack of utility and it's invasion of privacy. Benjamin Franklin said "They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety." I like my essential liberty and refuse to yield it. The TSA is unconstitutional. We need to get rid of it and DHS.
