There's nothing stopping you from starting a few well-reasoned pro-TSA threads. I look forward to reading them, and I honestly would like to be convinced by them.

Well, I can say I'm very impressed with how the TSA has unified a
divergent cross section of the American public. I see very few
organizations these days who can claim that. Still, it has nothing
to do with the stated mission of said organization.

The reason people are "anti-TSA" is likely due to being "pro-liberty". It seems many people here regard the constitution with reverence, shocking and feel that the fourth amendment applies to them. Most FFers can see through the security theatre and are keenly aware of it's lack of utility and it's invasion of privacy. Benjamin Franklin said "They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety." I like my essential liberty and refuse to yield it. The TSA is unconstitutional. We need to get rid of it and DHS.
