Perhaps Blogger Bob CAN delete posts

I just got this email from Blogger, which is the same service that TSA uses for their blog. In it, they mention that the ability to delete posts is now included in the moderation center.

Hopefully you’ve noticed the new Comments tab in your dashboard, which we added over the summer as part of our upgrade to the comment system. This Comment Inbox is a centralized place where you can manage all of your comment-related tasks, like delete published comments, manage comments that have been flagged as spam, and moderate awaiting comments (if you’ve enabled Comment Moderation).
I don't remember where Blogdad Bob posted it, but I do recall a post he put up about it not being possible to delete posts.. hmm

This is a screen shot of the comment inbox. Looks like you can mark as spam AND delete:

I know for a fact Bob (or someone on the blog team) can delete comments. I made a reply to a thread that I didn't think would be posted so I made a point of checking. Much to my suprise the comment was posted, it was viewable for about a day before it disappeared.

All posts are moderated and he's admitted to not allowing all through. According to him, about 10% don't make the cut.

You are right Jon, I've read that also. When I checked to see if the post I made, admittedly controversial, was posted I did so as a lurker without signing in. The post was definitely viewable on the public site for about a day before it vanished. In this case it was not a matter of not being allowed through, it was deleted after it was posted.

When you have proof from the company that hosts the blog that you can delete posts after the fact, which do you believe more?
