Will they answer: Are you going to touch my____?
So, in order for travelers to give informed consent to a patdown, the TSA needs to answer exactly what they are going to touch. I've asked an FSD and a TSA home office employee if my penis, testicles, or my wife's breasts or genitals will be touched. They both refused to answer and hid behind the "...we cannot share specific details of our procedures for security reasons"
So, I plan on and I propose we all ask specific questions like:
"Are you going to touch my penis?"
"Are you going to touch my testicles?"
"Are you going to touch my anus?"
"Are you going to touch my vaginal area?"
"Are you going to touch my breasts?"
If they are going to do this, then it is only fair to receive an honest answer. I'm so sick of hearing "sensitive areas", I don't know what that means and neither does anyone else and I doubt "sensitive areas" is a legal definition of anything, but of course INAL. I'm not proposing asking the questions in any confrontational manner, but rather with seriousness. Put some of the pressure back on the TSA.
