worldwide liquid rules

Is there an up-to-date list on the LGA rules in various countries? Seems like something I should be able to find, but my Google-fu is weak.

This is just anecdotal, but I think it's only to/from/within North America.

Last time I asked an AU security screener if I could bring beverages on a domestic flight he just laughed and said "of course!"

Liquid rules are in place in varying form around the world but also sometimes vary re post security purchases including beverages. Some places are still liquid safe.

Weird, I have flown HKG-SYD twice and both times I have been prohibited from carrying my bottle of water on board.

The HKG screener must have forgotten they are a rogue province of AU, so that's a domestic segment.
