I was just about to post this, the two beers part is the best. I see fox didn't report the beers part. WSJ online did however, here's another link http://gawker.com/5608503/flight-att...c-job-walk+out

Brilliant... someone's getting fired.

Goes to show that the dumbest people you'll ever meet will be found in planes and airports.

He's only there for our safety.

Well, he used to be there.

A melt-down over a passenger getting up to retrieve their belongings before the aircraft reaches the gate??? I'm glad this FA doesn't work in Asia, Africa or the Middle East.

After the passenger ignored requests to sit down; the FA came over as the pax pulled his bag out - it apparently fell on his head. The unrepentant passenger then told the FA to FU.

Grabbing a beer and sliding away from a career does seem like a decent way to depart (as far as loony insane goodbyes go) but I'd of probably punched out the #@$ that dropped the bag on my head for good measure - just to make sure the job termination was permanent.

It's sad but amusing. Someone will end up getting anger management classes and quite a few hours of community service. Perhaps they'll eventually find a true calling.

Just caught the tail end of a story on CNN & the NYC police commissioner was laughing about this.

CNN was getting some big laughs on Morning Express earlier.

I guess the FA picked a bad week to stop sniffing glue.
