Talk to tsa
Well, Pistole has posted his first article on the blog, TalkToTSA.
Ready, aim, FIRE!!!!!
I commit to you that I will utilize “Talk to TSA” to address some of the more commonly asked questions and themes. I’ll be addressing those concerns right here on the blog. So send us your ideas, suggestions, and feedback. I’m listening.

and here's the link the to piece of propaganda to appease the kettles press release: http://www.tsa.gov/press/releases/2010/0716.shtm along with the link to the actual "talk to the tsa page" with this part really making me feel all warm and fuzzy...
you know, if the stick is removed, tootsie-pops when shot with a slingshot can "really make an inpact"

After leaving your feedback, it will be sent directly to the person in charge of TSA customer service at the airport for which you are commenting. If you ask for a response, you will receive one.

Improving TSA’s counterterrorism focus through intelligence and cutting edge technology
Supporting the TSA workforce
Strengthening the agency’s relationships with stakeholders and the traveling public.

We pretty much know that low tech is far more cost effective than cutting edge technology. One shoe bomb = billions of man hours and dollars.
The best way to support the TSA workforce is to burn the dead wood managers and TSOs. Throw the bums out.
I assume the "stakeholders" are the commercial air travel infrastructure. The traveling public needs to have transparency in the security system, starting by respecting the Bill of Rights.
To support the goals outlined today, Pistole plans to conduct visits to airports and other transportation facilities to gain feedback from colleagues across the transportation security community and to hear from TSA staff.
face. Talk with everyone you meet and ask them what can be improved.

It's all warm and good, until the new head sees all the negativity towards his organization. Then it's business as usual. Cover-up after cover-up.

I doubt this was his idea, some lackey foisted it on him. Probably the web team generating self-employment. Net positive effect: 0.

Exactly. That's the purpose of propaganda. That's the way most government agencies work - after all, they are the "authority". Big government begets people dependent on the government.
