FOID and DOCS

Anyone know what these mean? Online for my KLM flights for an upcoming trip, I just noticed under special requests, it now has listed "ssr.FOID.label - Confirmed" and "ssr.DOCS.label -Confirmed"

These are on tickets that I didn't purchase myself but were purchased for me through a tour group.

FOID is short for form of identification
DOCS is documents okay

Thus your tour group probably has your passport detail and has passed these on to the airline who has confirmed you're eligibility to fly.

That phrase actually makes me nauseous - that we have come to this - 'eligible to fly.'

Big problem with NFL

Why deny anybody the freedom to fly. If we know who the bad guys are (the ones on the NFL) and we insure they are screened and are not carrying anything prohibited, what's the use of denying them flying? They'll just take a private plane, boat, train or car to get to where they want to do something nefarious.
However, that being said, if we keep these bad people off of planes, it obviously lowers the risk for everyone else. So why are we ramping up security to catch the "last" attempt? And the one before it?
I figure the terrorists will keep away from planes, as thousands of other equally-dramatic opportunities are available without paranoid security, or even any security at all.
As Bruce Schneier says, were spending billions closing all the blue doors.
What are our security experts and politicians smoking?
We'd be so much better off cutting TSA to 25% and giving the money to FBI and CIA who can actually catch bad people.
