Here is the PDF of the complaint, maybe it will help you nail it down. http://www.aclu.org/files/assets/tsa...t_20100210.pdf
Someone also should check if his name was flagged by a run against the unAmerican blacklists that the TSA uses and if the TSA had scanned his boarding pass against a machine prior to being subjected to the start of the secondary screening. His first and last name are common enough that it wouldn't be a surprise if it is the name or alias of some actual wanted person. Here's Nicholas George, the person they treated as a "real threat" at the airport but couldn't identify as a "real threat": http://www.cnn.com/2010/CRIME/02/10/...uit/index.html |
The date of the day in question is given at para 13 under "Factual Allegations" - 12/29/2009.
the official also attempted to make small talk, asking Mr George if he had seen the recent Philadelphia Phillies baseball game. After Mr George responded in the affirmative and offered his opinion of the game, the TSA official admitted that he had not seen the game and did not generally watch the Phillies |

:D Is this part of the fancy-schmancy ultra-effective Israeli-inspired psychological profiling we were told the TSA were getting trained in? "Hmmm...he speaks a furren language...and if he doesn't like sports, he's definitely a turrst!" |
This incident will probably encourage a number of foreign language students to seek employment in commercial or academic fields instead of our government. It may also discourage some from even considering becoming a translator.

It certainly seems to go toward showing how bigotry goes beyond being just a TSA infection and has infected the FBI in a way that wasn't the case a couple of decades ago. "Pro-Islamic" is a "real threat" while "anti-Islamic" is not? Still on the hunt for communists in America as a "real threat" despite the Soviet Union-esque actions of DHS/TSA and the government depending on financing from Communist China? :td: :td: to the infection of bigotry that has gone epidemic again in the nation.

So what many of you are stating is that these three screeners forced a LEO to put cuffs onthe kid and haul him off. Never knew we had that option. Somehow I find it hard to believe that this LEO acted without the OK of his superiors.

TSA's voodoo "security" BDOs wanted credit for this "achievement" too. They claimed that this person interested in joining up with the US State Department was "'exhibiting anomalous behavior' before he reached the checkpoint" that warranted this kind of extraordinary treatment.

It's always nice to see people not surrender their dreams of public service just because they had some negative encounters with fools on the public payrolls. |

It looks less like your so-called "Israeli-inspired psychological profiling" and more like John Does 1 and 2 stalling until Jane Doe 3 could get there, IMO.

The cop(s) could have easliy stated that there was no need for further discussion and told the TSA that there was nothing to pursue. I've been there and done that. Once the cops show up, it's entirely up to them as to what happens.
