Connection time and safety

I am traveling from Brussels to Atlanta via Amsterdam with KLM. I have 2 hours and 5 minutes for connection in AMS. However with the new security measures should I take an earlier flight from Brussels to AMS to give me more time? I would appreciate any advice from more expert travelers who have done already this trip since December 25th, 2009. Thanks guys!!!

I would not. While AMS is big 2 hours is enough time. Security for US bound flights is done at the gate, so as long as you are there you will still be boarded even if security is backed up. Sounds like the new rules are mostly window dressing anyway.
