Clippers

Does anyone know for certain if electric hair clippers are allowed in carry-on luggage? I see nothing prohibiting them on the TSA's website, nor on the website of the airline I'll be flying on. Has anyone carried hair clippers in their carry-on before?

It depends on the screener and it depends on the airport. If they are expensive pro clippers send them UPS, USPS or FedEx. If they are "cheap" ones take your chances.

I have never seen a policy regarding them. They might need a little closer look after the X-ray but I don't see why they would be prohibited.
