Predictions for the new year.
Well New Year's eve is upon us, what are your airline/TSA/DHS etc. related predictions for the next year.
I predict that the TSA will fan out from the airport to other areas of transportation with more intensity than we have seen in the past.
I predict the TSA will be abolished and those duties will be rolled into the DHS "proper".
I predict Gale will be out by February.
I predict Nappy will be out by May.
I predict two more attempts at destruction by terrorists.
I predict the Nude-O-Scopes will be placed system wide and within the year pulled as too intrusive and too unreliable. They will be replaced with dogs.
I predict the TSA will lose 90% of the cases it is involved in.
I predict the TSA will be tightened up by the courts even further than they have been already.

I predict that life will carry on even if we hit some bumps in the road.
I predict that if TSA continues on its current path that the airlines will need more ramp space to park unused aircraft in Arizona.

I have had my own bumps with ignorant people. A while back we had a baby shower at work and my wife and I got the lady a baby blanket made in Mexico. My wife swears by these blankets and both of my older kids (11 and almost 13) still use their blankets every night. They are great blankets.
I made the comment that it was a good Mexican blanket, oh boy the looks I got. In my mind it was in the same vein as Belgian chocolates, Swiss watches or Cuban cigars.
Thankfully the lady I gave it to understands me and knew exactly what I meant.
Anyhow my favorite name for the crotch bomber has been "The Undiebomber".
