Never received my 2000 Starwood points

Never received my 2000 Starwood points

I had signed up for ATT online billing by going into www.att.com/starwood

It has been months and I have not received my 2000 starwood points. Does anyone know if there is a number where I can call and get those points posted to my account.

Anyone has the same trouble?

How many months (or weeks) exactly? We all know 2, 3, 4 months are different.

This can be 12 weeks.

I also did not get the 2,000 points and called 1-800-532-8400, ext. 30040, twice. Still no points! Still hoping! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Maybe this can be asked over in the Starwood forum. I am quite curious as to whether anyone has actually received this bonus and how they managed to acheive this.

Greetings....

I called ATT about 2 months after I opted for online billing to enquire about the *wood points. I was surprised to hear the guy tell me that the reason they didn't award me the points was because they did not have my SPG account no.( I had provided it at the time of switch over). After I gave my number again, he came back and told me that I would get XX points, which was for the actual usage of the long distance service. I protested and he offered me 1000 spg points. I told him that I had not called to negotiate and that the number of points promised to me at the time of switching to online billing was 2000. Finally the guy caved in and agreed to give me 2K points. They posted in about 4 weeks after the call. The ATT Award number is 800-532-8400.

So yes! they do get awarded and posted if you get the right person on the phone. Keep trying and good luck.
