AT&T wireless
I've had my regular long distance account hooked up to my One Pass account for a while now, but always been told "No" about getting miles for my AT&T cell phone.
Now I have received an email from American Airlines saying something about getting Aadvantage miles for my AT&T cell phone. So what is the deal? Is this a new thing from American, or has it been around, and I just never came accross it? Is it just American, or are there other airlines that take part?

This is a new thing from American. I am currently an AT&T wireless customer. I guess all I(Anyone in the same situation) can do is threaten to cancel my service and try to get 5k out of them....

ATT Wireless also has a promotion going with Marriott Rewards where you get 7500 MR points for signing up for any plan 19.99 and up with at least a one year agreement. And they're having phone rebate deals along with free shipping and a $26 credit with a two-year contract.

Just signed up for AT&T Wireless, then found this, ARG.
Only thing is the discounts on phone is $80 using other offers, so the true cost of the miles is $30.
Went to a retail store (Which offered $50 until I told them about Web offer of $80) so I am probably out of luck on miles.

$39.99 per month for 1000 anytime minutes or $99.99 per month for unlimited anytime minutes, both on AT&T's GSM network, pretty sweet. I've been very pleased so far w/call quality and signal strength in Chicagoland.
