AT&T comes through

I also just received my OnePass statement and noticed that AT&T is offering 5000 miles to anyone that enrolls between now and the end of the year, even if I am an existing customer. I'm enrolling...anyone else that wants to enroll can call 800-255-4600. This is the best deal I have seen from AT&T yet.

On a cautionary note, you might want to read this thread before you call for your seat assignments...... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum98/HTML/000041.html .

can you please post the text so that we may see exactly what it says? I cannot seem to find the newsletter online at the continental site. I also want to know if this is combinable with the online billing rate of 9 cent days / nickel nights? Let me know how you made out.

Should we be at all suspicious that the only FT'er happy with AT&T is from Basking Ridge, NJ?

Well, I just signed up with them, had collected all 25,000 Sprint miles.

AT&T woke me up yesterday (at 10 a.m.) with an offer of 4,000 OnePass miles, 2,000 now and 2,000 after three months. Either $3.95 or $4.95 a month (can't remember) and 7 cents (or was it 9) during the day and 5 cents nights and weekends. Plus, they'd pay to switch me.

I said I wanted to think about it (I wanted to compare with a mail offer). The agent then said they'd up it to 2,500 now and 2,500 after three months, plus give me 2 hours' free service each of the first six months.

Done.

Today I check the mail offer: 2,000 now and 2,000 after six months. Hope the phone guys wasn't screwing with me. I'll call sometime soon and make sure. Plus, I hope to get the 1,000 online billing bonus. We'll see.

AT&T comes through with another scam! Marketers at AT&T has found a way to rob folks without regards. No matter how many checks they send me, I would not be an AT&T customer till they fix their customer service department to respond politely and promptly.

I accepted their offer back in October and have not been converted yet. Also have not received the miles.

Got a very nice confirmation letter a couple days ago from AT&T listing all the services I signed up for. Very nice. Clearly explains what all these services are, spells out all the rates and correctly has all the miles I will be getting and when I am supposed to get them.

This could be a piece of cake.
