Star Peru Check-in

Perhaps I'm hyper-ventilating over nothing... but I've got less than a week to go before flying into Lima. I pre-booked domestic flight, round-trip from Lima to Cuzco. The credit card that I used to book the flight has just been cancelled, and I shredded the card. But then I read the fine print of Star Peru e-ticket and lo' and behold credit card is required pre-boarding?! So er... just wondering, does anyone know if that is an absolute must or I could get by with a simple explanation....

I have never flow this airline, but I have never had to show the CC I paid with on other Peruvian airlines. I would think you are OK, but be sure to have a couple of different forms of photo ID (ie, passport and DL).

i was freaked out about the same thing with taca because it said also bring the same credit card used for purchase and i can't because my brother bought the ticket for me and he's in the us right now. so i emailed them and they said no required since buying it online you can only pay using credit card.

but that's in my case, email them asap

welcome to Flyertalk;
I would not worry. Most airlines same the same thing and I have never been asked for the card. If you are worried, take with you a couple of statements from the credit card with the number and your name. You should be OK. Enjoy Peru
