Seattle Institution Skewered in Latest Review

I can't say I disagree. Our last two meals there have been exactly as described in this long over due review of Wild Ginger.

I didn't think anyone actually went to Wild Ginger looking for authentic Chinese (or otherwise Asian) food ... O.o

Quite honestly, I'm amazed anyone goes there at all for lunch, let alone dinner. The restaurant looks full every time I walk by, but seriously, who eats there? Why would you eat there?

We book it for business lunches/dinners quite often. Because when customers are heading to Seattle it's where Google tells them is a 'must eat at' establishment, so they request it

It's a predictably fair quality meal providing adequate ambiance and won't break the bank. In those ways, it has appeal for a business lunch. Certainly not what I would recommend to out-of-towners.
