$50 Porter Airlines voucher

Hi,

What are the rules for selling / trading on FT in this subforum? I have a $50 voucher to porter airlines and won't be needing it anytime soon...

Thanks!

(Reuters) — Pilots at Porter Airlines Inc. are attempting to form a union at the closely held short-haul carrier, an organizing drive that formally began in early January 2012, a Porter pilot familiar with the situation said on Thursday.

A six-member interim executive for the Porter Airlines Pilots Association, or PAPA, has sent an email, obtained by Reuters, to scores of the airline's 250 or so pilots, urging them to sign membership cards.

If you are going to that part of VA from downtown Toronto, it is great. Otherwise, AC to DCA seems the better choice.

true...but does AC fly YTZ-DCA?

i'm not familiar with public transportation to/from YYZ but IAD isn't too bad to get downtown DC.

No US Customs at DCA, no US preclearance at YTZ, so to do it you'd need to stop somewhere with US Customs or preclearance first.

YYZ? Express bus to the end of the subway. Usually about 1 hour door - to - terminal from downtown TO. Express train being built from downtown to YYZ. Premium cost, but will be ~25 min to / from YYZ.

Porter's Decline

Cancelled flights, no contact, no info, dishonesty, surly indifferent agents...Air Canada? Nope. Porter! And to top it all off the cappuccino machines don't work!

Got any specifics that might help us make flying decisions?

Avoid Porter from YTZ in fog and other bad conditions. They are not bad when things are going right but not good when thing go wrong.

Porter Airlines launches Washington D.C. flights

http://www.anna.aero/2012/04/18/port...n-d-c-flights/

Porter Airlines, the airline analysed this week, expanded its network to the United States out of its Toronto City (YTZ) base. As of 16 April, the airline operates its Q400s 18 times weekly to Washington Dulles, DC (IAD). Indirect competition at Toronto Pearson comes from United’s 39 weekly flights as well as Air Canada’s 35 flights a week between Toronto Pearson and Washington National.
