First time buying AM ticket in many years, wanting to fly B789 MEX-JFK then connecting onto DL for short domestic flight.
Priced out on AM website, selected flights, chose "Premier" option, which clearly showed "Premier" for both AM and DL segments.
Keep clicking through - at no time any indication of anything other than business class seats.

Ticket issued - go to DL to select seats for domestic connection, only showing economy.
Check eTicket from AM - DL segment shows economy.
Double check AM website with dummy booking -- shows "Premier" the whole way.

Call Aeromexico... agent says
(1) You are in business on DL segment
(2) You need to call Delta for seating in business
(3) You are in premium economy on DL segment
(4) You are asking for an upgrade, there are no free upgrades
Agent repeatedly refuses to transfer to supervisor.

Finally give up and ask for refund (within 24 hr window) - says ok, but 6-8 weeks
I quoted DOT language ("prompt" is defined as being within 7 business days...) - more excuses
Filed a DOT complaint - will file a CC dispute if no refund within the 7 days

Moral of the story - pay close attention to the details when booking AM
For me - this will be the last time I do business with them
