Is Gol picky about carry on weight?

How is Gol with carry ons? I've never flown them before but have a few flights next month. Have flown LATAM a few times domestic and international and don't remember any fuss. Azul once but think I checked my bag then so didn't notice.

I've got an INT-INT connection where I plan to arrive GRU with carry on only but WAY over GOLs stated carry on weights (size is fine, just weight) separate tickets and even a 1h delay in arrival or immigration (obviously wouldn't go through immigration unless AA makes me check my bag, which I doubt) would mean I could still make the flight but not 60 min bag check cutoff. I guess worst case, just go as if I'm going carry on only through security then let G3 gate check it. INT Premium Economy if that tends to make any difference.

I've traveled a lot on Gol over the years. Never had my carry-on weighted. (In fact, Brazilian airlines generally do not enforce carry-on wheight).

Thank you, that makes me a lot more comfortable with the connection.

BTW, do you happen to know how Brazil is currently with selfie sticks in carry on bags? I read quite a few old threads that tripods weren't allowed in carry on, but were older threads before selfie sticks became popular. Found one site that suggests they are OK, but hope to find someone with first hand experience. I've got a fairly nice carbon fiber one popular with Vloggers so not really cheap and don't want to loose it at transit security.
