Midwest Express: Initial Routes Announced
First new Midwest Express plane lands; flight destinations announced - WTMJ
Looks like they will fly MKE-GRR, MKE-CVG, and MKE-OMA.
It also sounds like chocolate chip cookies are coming back. No immediate timetable has been announced.

I will be curious myself, BUT!!!! They initially are utilizing a third party airline that has mostly CRJ200's and some CRJ700's This does not bode well for a good initial impression.

Yeah, was quite disappointing. I mean, everyone is getting rid of their MD's...maybe pick a couple up on the cheap?! Haha.
Also not too thrilled with the paint job, would have been cool to have the two tone back right away.

So, did this whole thing go t**ts up? Initial routes announced. Supposed to be flying Q4 2019 which was moved to Q1 2020. Since then, nothing! Website does not have any new info and doesn't look updated since end of last year. Obviously, no reservations being taken. Anyone know what's going on?

"Midwest said in a statement that it expects to have that information available sometime near the end of the first quarter of 2020."

That answers that...........
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Airline Midwest Express announced Monday, March 9, they've ended their partnership with Elite Airways. Midwest Express filed a lawsuit against Elite, saying they breached agreement.According to a news release, Midwest Express and Elite Airways had partnered to launch flying operations for Midwest Express, while Midwest Express pursues its own airline operating certificate and aircraft.
The release says, although Midwest Express is discontinuing its partnership with Elite Airways, Midwest Express president Greg Aretakis says the airline’s plan continues to move forward with a goal of delivering non-stop flights with exceptional customer service.
“We are in substantial discussions with other airline operators to bring back non-stop service to Milwaukee,” Aretakis added. “We have received a tremendous amount of support from the business community and former passengers who tell us that they need better options for air travel in Milwaukee; and we intend to deliver it.”
Midwest Express is continuing fundraising efforts.
A date has not yet been set for the start of service.
So does this stick a fork in it?????
