SAA Outlets
Hi,
Flying SAA in three weeks from IAD-JNB in business on the Airbus. The website suggests that the seats have power outlets. What do I need to make a US laptop work? Thanks

Just a 2-prong (European style) plug is all you need. I've never had any problem getting power, but when my mom flew ATL-JNB and JNB-JFK in February, the outlets didn't work either leg. (The plugs were correct, but there was no power to any outlet on either aircraft.)
Enjoy your trip!
I hope it's good, since I'll be making my first IAD-JNB flight in 6 weeks.

No, If it is the Airbus 346 then it's not the two prong Europeans plugs... It's the 2/3 Prong North American plugs... I have used North American plugs on the CPT-FRA flights twice... European ones will NOT work!
