My C class experience JFK-TLV-JFK was not up to par either. For me, "par" would mean receiving my bag BEFORE returning home at the end of vacation!

I had a similar experience to a Delta code share ticket. I was denied boarding at TLV due to an oversold flight and since I had a DL ticket they only gave me a $200 voucher. They said if I had an EL-Al ticket they would of given me a voucher valid for a free JFK-TLV round trip.
