Ethiopian Air Business Class seat 787 Dreamliner vs. 777
I have an option between selecting business class on Ethiopian Air on a 787 or a 777 for our 10 year anniversary trip using MileagePlus miles. What do you suggest? Lie flat seats are of most importance to us.

777-200 / 777-300 you will definitely get a lie flat. 787-9 are all lie flat. 787-8 aircraft are a mix of lie flat & slightly angled, depending on the aircraft.

Note that ET frequently will swap equipment - so no guarantee which equipment you will get (though some routes have more frequent subs than others).

Can someone confirm that if I am on a 787 800 in J I have a worse than 50 / 50 chance of getting a 180 flat bed (10/19 aircraft have 160 degree seats) or have they replaced more of the angled seats since the Wiki was last modified in June of 2018?
I am booked to fly YYZ ADD in March on a 788

I second this. I have been in both seats and much preferred the 777 (that was a B777-200LR but as I understand it the seat is the same on the B77W)
