Smile Two brand new lounges unveiled at Kigali (KGL) airport

We had the existing Pearl Lounge at departure area and the new lounges that we have completed are the Dream Lounge, which is also at departure, and another one in the arrival side.

1) The new arrival lounge is a walk-in lounge and NAS- RwandAir officials say KIA is one of the first airports in the East African region to introduce such a kind of lounge
With the arrival lounge, premium passengers can pay a certain fee and walk into an arrivals lounge.

2) The Dream Lounge, on the other hand, is a VIP lounge that will be exclusively dedicated to RwandAir premium clients – business class passengers and frequent flyers, while passengers using other airlines will continue using the Pearl Lounge.
Last Friday, I flew out from KGL in the evening, and the basic Pearl Lounge was absolutely full to the brim that staff had to open for regular guests the VIP/Government section/room at the back( the only difference with the main room is the efficient A/C).
Not that usually the experience inside is great, but that time it was clearly a nightmare!!!
Most pax (from the same conference ) were either travelling on SN, KL or KQ to Europe or US/America rather than on RwandAir with only one flight to Entebbe scheduled at that time or late after. Anyway this is a good news as they don't look too bad ( for African standards).

Is it true that ADD or ET doesn't offer any arrival lounge?

As I am currently only a RwandAir DreamMiles Silver status holder, the only option now is to wait the future KGL - LGW trip with RwandAir in J, next January.

Not sure I understand this question, can you elaborate? You mean arrivals lounge in ADD when arriving on ET? Or in Kigali on ET? And as which card holder/ticket class?

The lounges in ADD are not that great. Thankfully they are saying there will be new lounges when the new terminal is completed in the (near?) future. I also find it quite annoying that airliners such as TK, LX and LH lets *G holders use their business and/or first class lounges, but in ADD you will not get admission to the business class lounge unless you have a J ticket. Instead you will be directed to the much less desirable Gold lounge. Certainly hope this will change.

Yes.
A such large airport like ADD along with Africa's best airline should at least provide a such facility, especially with their extended long haul network.
What are the differences between Gold lounge and Business class lounge?
I've been only once, ages ago in the former- i think- when BMI used to fly to ADD...
