Fastjet to get E190s

As a319s exit the Fastjet fleet due to lease. endings, Fastjet will replace them with E190s. Last year LFs were only at 67%, so it kinda makes sense. First destinations are Kilimanjaro, Entebbe, Mbeya, and Mwanza.

Is FastJet profitable yet? Hope that it's strong backing won't mean it will go the same way as FlyAfrica.

They had operating losses of $42m on revenue of $65m in 2015. That actually is a huge improvement to operating losses of $57m on revenue of $55m in 2014.

Extract from the independent auditor's report for Fastjet plc.

http://www.fastjet.com/zw/en/file-re...-accounts-2015

"These matters... indicate the existence of a material uncertainty which may cast significant doubt on the Group's and the parent companys ability to continue as a going concern. "

Nowhere near profitable.
